Population Health Analyst

Vital Incite is a quickly growing company looking to eliminate medical spend waste and better the health of employees across the country . The Population Health Analyst will use his/her specialized knowledge and skills to support the evaluation of each client’s medical needs, trends in healthcare utilization, care coordination and impact of programs or services. This position will be responsible for ad-hoc and investigative reporting to assist the Strategy team in the creation of client reports and support of client questions. This team member will also use existing tools to generate reports and investigate client questions that arise.

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop a deep understanding of the extensive data warehouse available for analysis
• Assist in the creation of the initial analysis and presentation of the employer’s health data
• Analyze additional sources of data such as biometrics and survey results of an employer program
• Utilize business intelligence dashboarding to assemble analyses and dashboards for internal and external use
• Create and maintain documentation for dashboards and custom reports

Qualifications

• Experience gathering requirements, aggregating and presenting data to internal or external clients (management and C-Suite level)
• Demonstrated data analysis and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree Health Care Administration, Public Health, Statistics or related field with 3-5 years previous experience. Other degrees will be considered with strong experience in data aggregation and presentation
• Advanced level of skill in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
• Experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau, Qlikview, PowerBI a plus
• Experience in PowerPivot and Service Analysis Services (SSAS) a plus. Applicants with advanced excel skills still encouraged to apply)
