Lessons Learned

  • Since breast cancer is the second highest incidence of cancers and accounts for 19% of all cancer’s diagnosed in our book of business and the impact of early diagnosis is critical to reduce disease burden and cost, mammography compliance is critical.   Our research found mammogram compliance was higher by 9% for employers that offered mobile onsite mammography.  What we do not know is if that impact is due to improved communication to highlight the importance or access to care.
  • Incidence of Mental Health diagnosis continues to increase illustrating our need to continue to find better strategies to help support team members.
