Population Health Analyst

Vital Incite is a dynamic quickly growing company with a strong mission to improve the efficiency of healthcare. We are searching for a Population Health Analyst that will use his/her specialized knowledge/skills to support the evaluation of each client's medical needs, treds in healthcare utilization, care coordination and impact of programs or services. This position will be responsible for ad-hoc and investigative reporting to assist the Strategy team in the creation of client reports and support of client questions.

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop a deep understanding of the extensive data warehouse available for analysis
• Assist in the creation of the initial analysis and presentation of the employer’s health data
• Understand and identify the latest trends in healthcare/disease management
• Analyze additional sources of data such as biometrics and survey results of an employer program
• Utilize business intelligence dashboarding to assemble analyses and dashboards for internal and external use
• Create and maintain documentation for dashboards and custom reports

Qualifications

• Experience gathering requirements, aggregating and presenting data to internal or external clients (management and C-Suite level)
• Bachelor’s degree Health Care Administration, Public Health, Statistics or related field with 3-5 years previous experience. Other degrees will be considered with strong experience in data aggregation and presentation
• Advanced level of skill in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
• Experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau, Qlikview, PowerBI a plus
• Experience in PowerPivot and Service Analysis Services (SSAS) a plus. Applicants with advanced excel skills still encouraged to apply)
