Vital Incite is a dynamic quickly growing company with a strong mission to improve the efficiency of healthcare. We are searching for a Web Developer to join our dynamic team to support our product development and our integrations and data auditing processes.
Reporting to the Director of Technology, the Web Developer is an Exempt position responsible for developing and maintaining all Vital Incite web applications. This position focuses on enhancing and maintaining our web applications to answer client questions, reduce manual tasks, and develop or modify proprietary codesets to support Vital Incite’s products and user base.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Web developer with extensive experience in coding and implementing web applications using the .Net framework, Visual Studio, and Microsoft SQL Server technologies.
- Demonstrated proficiency in development using Microsoft .Net technologies including C#, .Net Core, .Net framework 8 or later, MVC, and Entity Framework.
- Proven experience building .NET web applications using common frameworks and tools such as JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, and CSS.
- Skilled in developing web-based user interfaces using Telerik tools.
- Ability to implement and consume SOAP or REST services.
- Communicate progress, status, issues, and resolutions to team members and manager.
- Participate in various phases of the software development life cycle, including specifications, development, QA, delivery and bug fixes.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, delegate, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Critical thinking skills to understand how to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Collaborate on and participate in executing the overall Technology Strategy, Plan, and product roadmap through collaboration, coordination, and communication with the IT and product teams.
This is a remote position with an Eastern Time Zone schedule to match the rest of the team.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
- Education:
- Computer Science degree or equivalent skills of 5+ years of full-time web development using Microsoft technologies and tools. - Experience:
- 5+ years of development of web applications using C# using responsive modern web application design and frameworks including HTML5, MVC, Entity Framework, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with Visual Studio and the Microsoft stack including .Net Core, .Net 8 or higher.
- Experience with Telerik tools, Git source control, and Azure preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server including T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
- Understanding of healthcare claims data preferred - Skills:
